D’Agostino Studios
specializes in custom life cast and figure design for museum exhibits, special events, film and more.

The original firm, Mannequin Service Company, began repairing retail mannequins in 1957. Lania D’Agostino, an accomplished sculptor with over twenty years of experience in figure design, joined the company in 1985 and became the Owner and Artistic Director in 1989. Under her artistic direction, inanimate figures come to life! She heads a highly trained studio staff consisting of experienced artisans gifted in sculpting, life casting, mold making, finishing, and costume design.

D'Agostino museum figures are custom-built using a durable fiberglass resin or conservative ethafoam for historical museums. Studio models are used for life casting and mold-making to create authentic faces and poses - in keeping with the designer's vision. Figures can be built in any size or position, and our exceptional costume designer can create specialized apparel.

D'Agostino clients range from Historical Museums, such as The Smithsonian, to International traveling displays, including the Star Wars Exhibit for Lucas Films.
